About Mrs. McGee

I am so excited to teach at Heritage Academy Gateway! The moment I walked into the school years ago, I could feel something special.

I earned my degree in education from Arizona State University. I love learning! No matter what stage of life I am in, I always find new things to learn and ways to grow. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with others and I have a deep love for working with children and teens. I have a passion for books and literature and I am so excited to share this love with my students!

I love reading, hiking, water sports and spending time in nature. My absolute most favorite thing is my family. My wonderful husband and I have been married for over 25 years and we have been blessed with 6 amazing kiddos (and one awesome son-in-law.)

I am looking forward to a great year!
