The AP Biology class and the Dual Enrollment 181/181L class are taught together. If you get a 4 or 5 on the AP exam you can receive 8 credits of Biology for majors at any of our state universities. If you get a 3 on the AP exam you can get 4 credits of a non-majors biology. This information is based on guide lines from the universities and colleges in Arizona. If you would like to know about other universities, you must contact them.
The Dual Enrollment class qualifies you for credit for Biology 181 and the 181 lab 3 and 1 credits respectively for a total of 4 credits. The grade you earn in class will be the grade that goes on you college transcript from Rio Salado college except it will be broken out by lecture and lab.
