About Mrs. Peoples

My name is Christina Peoples and I began teaching Drama at Heritage in 2019. I am originally from California but moved to Arizona in 1987 and I have enjoyed this beautiful state ever since. I have a wonderful husband, three children, four dogs and one hedgehog. I started my music education at a very young age with piano and quickly added singing to the mix. Coming from a very musical family, I have a great passion for music, performing, being on the stage and behind it.

I studied Music at Arizona State University with an emphasis in Voice Performance and have been in several musicals, operas, concerts, reviews, shows and recitals. Some of my best memories are from my perfomances on the Gammage stage, with the ASU Lyric Opera Theater and with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra and Phoenix Bach Choir. I have enjoyed directing several music theater productions and love to see our talented scholars shine on the stage!

I am a huge Disney fanatic, love the Rennaisance Faire, I enjoy reading, especially science fiction and fantasy, watching movies, gaming, hiking, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with my family.
