Hello and welcome to Geometry 2022-2023. My name is Coach Reese. This is my 6th year at Heritage Academy and my 4th year teaching math. My first year I taught Algebra 1 for the first semester and then took over for Geometry 2nd semester and have not looked back! I am excited for another year teaching and cannot wait to meet all my new students and parents along the way! Even with this unique start to the school year I know we will learn a great deal, laugh a great deal, and lean on each other in this time of need.

Besides being in the classroom I am the Assistant Varsity Head football coach and will be entering my 6th year on the staff. I have helped win 2 state titles during that span in 2016, 2019, and 2020. Along with football, I am the Varsity Head Baseball coach and am entering my 4th year with the program. I also will be coaching JV basketball this year and am the Recruiting Coordinator at the school.

My educational background is that I graduated from Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Arizona. After graduating from Red Mountain, I attended Mesa Community College before completing my Bachelors' Degree from Arizona State University (Go Devils!) in the WP Carey School of Business Program with my Business Communications Degree. Finally, this year, I completed my Masters' Degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University (Go Lopes!).

Before coming to Heritage, I spent most of my professional career working in the private sector for companies like Adidas, Reebok, and the Federal Government. I found that in all those jobs I was in a capacity of teaching my co-workers and decided to make the pivot over to the educational field.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year and have 3 wonderful children. We love to spend time having movie and game nights along with doing anything outdoors to keep us active. If I am not with my family or my school family, I find myself in the gym working out and finding my mental paradise.
