Bio:

From my earliest years, family, friends, and educators have encouraged and supported me in each of my endeavors. They often opened doors of opportunity for me, granting experiences I never would have had without their help, and leading me to success in so many ways. Some of the opportunities I experience in high school include:

  • Taking Dual Enrollment (DE) courses through Rio Salado, when DE was a new thing.

  • Attending college at MCC over the summer, while still in high school.

  • Being invited into the Physics program at ASU, while still in high school.

Despite being at ASU, I finished high school. Then I spent two years in Japan as a missionary for my church, after which I continued my studies at ASU, earning both a Bachelor Degree and Master Degrees. While pursuing my PhD at ASU, I taught physics at MCC.

Over time, I became greatly concerned about the future of our country and our personal liberties. I began an intensive study of constitutional principles, attended seminars, and read many of the words of our founding fathers. At length I determined that I needed to step away from science for a time and study the law, both as it should be and as it is. My PhD program was interrupted during law school, after which I continued teaching (physics and astronomy) at MCC. I went on to pass the Bar Exam in Colorado and Arizona, and began to practice law, though purely pro bono, as service to the community around me.

I was hired in 2016 to teach Chemistry and Physics a Heritage Academy. Teaching at Heritage Academy gives me the opportunity to teach subjects I love and provide opportunities to today's youth just as opportunities were provided to me. Also, I am able to teach the values of freedom and responsibility, so necessary to this and all generations.
