Welcome to my online page. Teaching is my passion. I began teaching junior high in 1997. I retired in 2005 to be a mom to my four fabulous children. Three of my four children are now old enough to be scholars here at Heritage themselves, and as we walked the halls of the school on our first Meet the Teacher night, I couldn't help thinking, "I want to go to this school too." And now I do! This will be my third year teaching at Heritage, and I love it. I especially love teaching junior high scholars. Let me tell you why: making the transition from elementary school to middle school is tough! I love helping young people make that transition in a positive environment. My goal is that every scholar will feel safe, comfortable, and happily engaged in the learning process while in my classroom, be it my regular classroom or my virtual one. I am here to help you learn and succeed. Despite the uncertainties we may face at this time, we are going to have a great year!
