Architecture and its Impact

By Afelia Simova

Architecture is the art of creating various structures that suit people's needs and are practical to use. Furthermore, no modern society can exist without construction, as at its roots, architecture exists to create the environment in which people live. Even so, architecture is more than just the built surroundings, it's also a part of our culture.

Nowadays, architecture has its own shades, meanings, methods of construction, and many other various aspects. Therefore, all of the above is nothing but a reflection of the feelings and type of thinking of the architect, which he projects into his work. Architecture, to a greater extent than other arts, expresses the general function of culture - the neutralization of human passions, calming and restoring peace of mind. Obviously, some people may be strongly impressed emotionally by a few significant architectural masterpieces, which were not only built thousands of years ago, but also now.

Throughout history, different architectural styles have been formed, due to the evolution of society. Likewise, invention of new types of equipment and building materials, the desire of people for discoveries, knowledge of the new - all this left its own unique imprint on a particular architectural style.

The most important part is the creators of architecture themselves - architectures. Only thanks to them, humanity contemplated and still contemplates buildings made in different styles. On the other hand, every desirable architect must know the history and philosophy of his country, and especially nature and its laws to perform his or her knowledge in future designs.

People should still develop their knowledge, because current technologies are developing, the world is changing, and with it the styles of architecture. Consequently, this opens up new opportunities for humanity, other views, which can significantly affect architecture and make it an essential part of us.
