End of the BTE (Best Term Ever!)
We have reached the end of Term 4 and are half-way through the school year! Children have worked hard and achieved lots and been developing the skills to work as a team. We will be continuing to focus on these skills of team-building throughout Term
Year 3 have been learning about volcanoes, you can see more about their topic in this newsletter.
Year 2 went on a trip to see some of the remaining sites linked to the Great Fire of London, you can see a report below. Trips are currently being arranged for other classes. You will hear these plans shortly.
There are some exciting events planned for Term 4, including a special Science Day on Thursday 23rd February delivered by The Royal Institution.
Have a lovely half-term break. Remember that school starts on Monday 20th February 2023.

Year 2 went on a trip back in time. They have been learning all about the Great Fire of London and their topic culminated in a learning trip to many famous locations in London connected to the fire, including Pudding Lane, the Monument and St Paul's Cathedral. Year 2 really enjoyed their trip and some things to say about their time learning out of school.

Miss Miller writes: 'Year 3 have loved learning about volcanoes and earthquakes this term. As part of our homework projects, the children have made their own volcanoes based on their learning about a volcano formation.
In Geography lessons, year 3 have been learning about how earthquakes occur and have been researching the recent earthquakes this week in Turkey and Syria.
On Thursday 23rd February, The Royal Institution will be delivering special Science workshops in school. During the school day, KS1 and KS2 classes will take part.
There will be a special Community Science Show at 3.45pm. Parents and Carers are welcome to attend with their children.
