Job Title: Operations and Communications Assistant
Type: Part-time, remote, contract (If in Miami /meet in office 1 day a month)

Key Responsibilities:
Cohort Management & Communications: Act as the communications manager within our design school cohorts, ensuring clear and effective communication between participants and program leads. Manage cohort schedules, activities, and overall experience to ensure a smooth and enriching learning journey.
Communication Management: Handle inquiries and flag important messages within Discord. Send daily reminders about stand-up meetings, upcoming events, or workshops.
Event Coordination: Create event materials, including presentations and social media content. Schedule events and send email reminders to maximize engagement.
Proactive Support: Demonstrate the ability to manage up by keeping projects moving forward and anticipating needs.
Social Media Oversight: Manage our social media presence, scheduling daily posts, engaging with our community, and answering questions.
Design Advocate Program Support: Serve as the main point of contact for design advocates and design leads, facilitating the collection of materials to enhance the program.
Company Outreach: Assist with outreach efforts to onboard more companies into future cohorts, expanding our network and impact.
Page Content Management: Update and manage content across our website, landing pages and online platforms, ensuring information is current, accurate, and engaging.
Executive Support: Provide administrative support, managing schedules, correspondence, and project timelines.
Drive and Process Organization: Take the lead in organizing our digital workspace, including cleaning up and structuring our Google Drive for optimal efficiency. Develop and implement organization processes, such as setting up project management tools like Monday.com, to streamline collaboration and enhance productivity across the team.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Independent worker and collaborative team player.
Comfortable in a remote work environment.
Design skills or eye a plus.
Event planning and coordination experience is a plus.
Experience in operations, communications, or a related field a plus
Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies.
