Masonic Scholarships - Due by March 1, 2025

Central MO Ag Club Scholarships - Due by March 5, 2025 - LOCAL
Central Missouri Agriculture Club offers an AFA scholarship, a one-time scholarship in the amount of $3,200 that can be used towards tuition and fees in addition to sponsorship to the AFA Leaders Conference (a $1,000 value). If you apply for this scholarship, you are automatically enrolled for the Central Missouri Ag Scholarship and you will not need to complete that application. Also, attached is the Central Ag Club Scholarship (WHICH IS DIFFERENT THAN THE AFA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION). A few items regarding the scholarship:
It is a one-time scholarship.
The dollar amounts of the scholarships vary. For the last five years, $10,000+ has been awarded in Central Missouri Ag Club scholarships.
It is awarded to a graduating high school senior who is seeking an agriculture degree OR a current college student who is in an agriculture related field of study
It can be awarded to an individual who is seeking a degree from either a two year or a four-year institution (i.e. State Fair Community College attendees can apply)
If you applied for the AFA scholarship, you are automatically enrolled to apply for this scholarship and do not need to complete the attached application.
Potential applicants should be graduating high school seniors that are planning on pursuing a four-year degree in an agriculture related field of study. The applicant should reside in one of the following school districts:

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must not be receiving a full collegiate scholarship. The total value of the MWGEA award, combined with other financial aid, cannot exceed the value of a full grant-in-aid.
Scholarships are disbursed directly to the recipient’s college or university to cover educational expenses.
MWGEA does not restrict the recipient’s choice of institution.

Guidelines and Information
******
1. The Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary professional scholarship program was founded by the Board of Directors of the Auxiliary of the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, for the purpose of helping people obtain an education in the field of health care, and to help meet the future need for professionals at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.
2. The scholarships are awarded for one to four year professional certified programs in any health care related field. A recipient who has used the scholarship and successfully completed a year of school may apply for the scholarship in subsequent years.
3. Applicants must be current school-year, high school graduate and legal residents of Henry, Benton, and St. Clair Counties, Missouri, or be an employee of Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.
4. Candidates for scholarship shall present themselves to the Scholarship Committee for a personal interview if this is requested.
5. The Scholarship Committee shall be composed of members of the Auxiliary. This committee shall receive applications, investigate the qualifications and character of the applicants and select the candidate who will be awarded the scholarship available. Decision of the Scholarship Committee shall be subject to approval of the Board of the Auxiliary.
6. The Scholarship Committee should work through the hospital and under the advisement of the personnel director of the hospital.

Show-Me to College Scholarship - Due by April 1, 2025
Open to graduating Missouri students who meet certain criteria such as a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5+ through at least seven semesters and a Student Aid Index (SAI) from the FAFSA of 12,000 or less. No essays are required, and you will need to upload your FAFSA Submission Summary, your high school transcript, and list activities. The application will open February 1 to April 1, 2025!
The scholarship is $2,000 per year and renewable for a total of four years. If you do not apply for this scholarship this year, you cannot receive it going forward.
The application is available on myscholarshipcentral.org/apply - then click on Apply Now, create an account or sign in if you already have an account, and then search for “Show-Me”. While on My Scholarship Central, you can also look for other scholarships you may be eligible for offered by Missouri-based nonprofit organizations and foundations.

Central MO Electric Cooperative (CMEC) - Due by April 1, 2025 - LOCAL
Eight scholarships in the amount of $500 each will be awarded to seniors who live in Benton, Pettis, and Saline Counties. Two will be awarded in each county. Your parent/guardian or grandparent must be a current member of CMEC. You must have a ACT score of 21 or better and a GPA of 2.75 or better.
