First and foremost, all staff have a voice and that voice continually drives district decisions. Feedback is not just received, it is actually acted upon! Staff feedback led to the purchase of an evidence-based literacy & mathematics curriculum. This saves staff tremendous time in lesson planning.

Staff feedback led to changes in school calendar, doubling # of teacher workdays and three day weekends in February and March.

Staff feedback led to changes in salary schedule leading to yearly step increases.

Staff feedback led to hiring of a nurse practitioner so staff no longer have to make outside doctor appointment and use up a sick or personal day.

As a district, we focus on three critical questions to ensure our students have an amazing learning environment:

Each school has an established core (tier 1) system of expectations - such as Leader in Me - which staff consistently model and redirect with students.

We provide reflection and restoration support to address student issues which create a barrier to learning.

We offer several learning pathways to meet the needs of all students, ensuring calm yet engaging learning environments for all.

We provide highly-structured learning environments K-12 for students in need of SEL support which cannot be provided in the traditional setting.
