Comparable Instruction
Students can earn their Kentucky online high school diploma by completing the required number of free online high school classes. Virtual Pathway students have the support of a certified digital learning facilitator. High school graduating students in Kentucky will be prepared for success in today’s technology-driven world!
Supplementing homeschool?
Online homeschooling is a great option for students who need a flexible schedule to pursue a career in athletics, the arts, music, or if they have complex health conditions and need extra time during the day for medical appointments. Accredited online Kentucky schools also offer several electives to enrich your child’s overall learning.
Among our students are those who:
Prefer to learn at their own pace for various reasons (they have a job, want to work on their own, etc.). They participate through Edgenuity and occasionally on Google Meets.
Are professional performers and cannot attend a brick-and-mortar school. They do participate in regular meetings and school events as schedules allow.
They find it easier to work in a smaller school environment with more flexible schedules.
Struggle with anxiety and focus better learning from home in their own environment.

Hi Families! My name is Carlie Kellogg and I’m excited to share that I will be the new Virtual Counselor for the HCPS Virtual Pathway. In this role as your Counselor, I will provide skill-building that will improve social and emotional struggles and help in identifying and addressing barriers to academic success.
