Hello, OKE Family,

My name is Willie Holmes, and I serve as the Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator at Oakland Elementary, while also working part-time as the Family Engagement Liaison. I am excited to collaborate with our students, families, staff, and community to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education that supports positive and successful outcomes.

I have over 10 years of experience as an educator and more than 20 years of experience providing a variety of services to children and families. My background includes child development, behavior interventions, social-emotional development, and student and staff wellness. I am committed to building strong school-family partnerships because when families and schools work hand in hand, students are better positioned to succeed.

I look forward to building meaningful relationships, getting to know OKE families, and working together to make this school year a successful and rewarding one.
