Hello! I am Mrs. Price. I've had the pleasure of being an advocate for students. I have served students for 11 years in public school settings, as a teacher, and as a school counselor. I strive to implement innovative practices to help each student become contributing global citizens. I believe in the power of using multiple forms of literacy to enhance students’ lives with a wealth of exposure. The exposure will help students learn numerous lessons and skills such as empathy, resiliency, regulating emotions, and self-confidence. My counseling philosophy framework comprises both Strengths-Based and Solution Focused. I seek to inspire students by helping them identify their strengths from within to help them meet the goals they seek to achieve.

As a school counselor I am aware that all students learn differently. It is my focus to identify how I can best support student's academically.
Attendance

As a school counselor, I routinely contact parents concerning attendance. There are many valid reasons students are absent. The goal is not perfect attendance but to ensure that they are present to gain all the instructional support they need.

Campus Tours
Campus Tours
Beginning with the end in mind is the entire focus to expose students to different college and career opportunities. The sky is the limit, once students are made aware that there is no ceiling. Tours will occur from September until May.
Mock Interviews
Mock Interviews
In March students will participate in Mock Interviews. This is to help them navigate what a hiring process resembles. To prepare for a job during high school or beyond.
