Required Chorus Dates:

Below are the dates of currently scheduled chorus performances and required rehearsals. These dates are subject to additions and changes. *Dates for fundraisers, optional Honor Choirs, and social events will be communicated with students and parents as they come. Students can find these dates on the classroom chorus calendar as they are added, as well.

August 13th*: Parent Meeting (ALL parents/guardians) *The date was incorrect on the open house letter. Sorry!

          Location: UGHS Chorus Room 307

          Time: 6 pm

October 15th: Fall Chorus Concert

          Location: McDonough Performing Arts Center

          Student Call Time: 5:00 pm

          Concert: 7 pm, Doors open at 6:30 pm. Free

October TBD: Sing at Homecoming Game (Football)

          Location: UGHS Wolverine Stadium

          Student Call Time: 5:30 pm meet in chorus room

          Perform at: 7 pm, Choir students singing with us will have free admission to the game.

November 11th: Symphonic Choral Concert Mandatory Rehearsal (Advanced Chorus Only)

          Location: UGHS Band Room

          Student Call Time: 3:15pm, at dismissal

          End Time: 5 pm

November 17th: Chorus Picture Day (ALL Chorus students must bring concert uniform for photo in class)

          Location: UGHS Choir Room

          Student Call Time: normal class time

November 18th: Symphonic Choral Concert Mandatory Rehearsal (Advanced Chorus Only)

          Location: UGHS Band Room

          Student Call Time: 3:15pm, at dismissal

          End Time: 5 pm

December 2nd: Symphonic Choral Concert Mandatory Rehearsal (Advanced Chorus Only)

          Location: UGHS Band Room

          Student Call Time: 3:15pm, at dismissal

          End Time: 5 pm

December 7th: Symphonic Choral Concert (Advanced Chorus Only)

          Location: Fairview Performing Arts Center

          Call Time: 4:30pm

          Concert: 7 pm, Doors open at 6:30 pm. Free

December 15th: Winter Chorus Concert

          Location: McDonough Performing Arts Center

          Call Time: 5:00pm

          Concert: 7 pm, Doors open at 6:30 pm. Free

February TBD: Pre-LGPE Mandatory Rehearsal

          Location: UGHS Chorus Room

          Student Call Time: 3:30-6 pm

February 11th: Pre-LGPE Concert 

          Location: Salem Baptist Church

          Call Time: 5:00pm

          Concert: 7 pm, Doors open at 6:30 pm

March 2nd-4th: Large Group Performance Evaluation

          Location: Flat Creek Baptist Church, Fayetteville

April 7th: Mandatory After-School Rehearsal

April 14th: Mandatory After-School Rehearsal

April 27th: Mandatory After-School Rehearsal

May 4th: Mandatory After-School Rehearsal

May 6th: Spring Chorus Show dress rehearsal
