Tyhisha Charles

My name is Mrs. Charles, and I’m excited to be teaching upper elementary this year. For the past five years, I’ve had the joy of helping young learners grow both academically and personally. I believe education is one of the most important foundations in a person’s life, and it begins with positive, meaningful experiences in the classroom.

As an educator, I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. Confidence is key, not just for students, but for teachers too, and I work hard to bring enthusiasm, structure, and a genuine love of learning into everything I do. My goal is to spark that same excitement in each of my students and help them develop the skills they need for future success.

I’m also a strong believer in the power of community and the importance of preparing our students for the future, both in college and in their careers. I’m truly grateful to the families and community members who have entrusted me with their children this year. It’s a privilege to be part of their journey. 

Outside the classroom, I’m married and have two sons currently in college. I enjoy shopping, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
