Hello! I'm Takiyah Timmons!

I am so excited to welcome you to second grade! This is my first year as a classroom teacher, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with such an amazing group of students and families. 

Teaching has always been a dream of mine, and I feel incredibly grateful to begin my career doing what I love. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Valdosta State University, and I am passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels valued, challenged, and encouraged to do their very best. 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, cooking, shopping, and making memories with family and friends. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a year filled with growth, kindness, and unforgettable learning experiences. Here's to an amazing second-grade adventure!
