About Me
Hello, and welcome to my 12th grade British Literature class. In this class we will cover British authors and literature through out history. My goal for all my classes is to help students succeed and inspire continued learning through literature.
This is my 9th year teaching in Henry County Schools, and my student teaching was completed at Union Grove High School. I grew up in McDonough and attended HCHS when I was in high school, and am honored to have the chance to start the year at McDonough High. This school and this community are very important to me, and close to my heart, and because of this, I intend to work hard to ensure the success of my students. I hope to better the community that has already given me so much. British Literature is the subject I enjoy the most, so we will have a great time travelling through the literary history of England together.
In my spare time I like to read, play guitar, and hike, but most of my spare time is spent taking care of my two dogs. Overall, I am excited about this year, and I can't wait to start this journey with all of my students!
