My name is Michelle Burch, but you can call me "Shelly." I was born in Tucson, Arizona while my dad was serving in the Air Force. I grew up in Fayetteville, Georgia, and spent my years cheering, dancing, running track, and playing basketball. My 8th-grade basketball team even went all the way to the state championship and WON! I graduated in 1992 from Fayette County High School (GO TIGERS!!) and started that same summer at Mercer University (GO BEARS!!). I worked full-time and went to school full-time for the next four years. I worked as a nanny, in a soda fountain, as a pharmacy tech., and as a secretary in a church. I even got married during my junior year of college! I have been living in McDonough ever since, and have been married to my wonderful, amazing husband for 29 years!!! Our two wonderful boys are Bailey (25) and Preston (22). We love to spend time as a family traveling, camping, playing with our dogs (Max and Ruby), listening to my son jam out on his guitar, and hanging out in the mountains at our lake house. Disney World is one of our favorite places to visit!!! We attend Momentum Christian Church, and love to serve our community! This is my 21st year in education, and I LOVE it! I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, SAGE, and TAG. This year I am serving as the Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator. This is my 11th year and TES, and It's going to be the BEST year yet!!!
