Class overview
This course prepares students for the SAT and ACT by building academic reading, grammar, rhetorical analysis, editing skills, and math. Instructions are organized around a 9-week reading and writing focus followed by a second quarter of SAT math instructions. Students will develop critical thinking, reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, math, and test taking strategies through authentic SAT/ACT resources.
About me
My name is David Clark, better known as Coach Clark. I am a Miami, FL native and a graduate of the University of South Florida. I am excited to work my third year at Locust Grove High School and look forward to assisting students in producing the best SAT/ACT test scores they could achieve. My mission is to make sure all students maximize their knowledge and gain the tools needed to receive great scores.
