Mrs. Ford

My name is Valri Ford, and I am the ESOL teacher at ROE. ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages. In ESOL, our focus is on developing both academic and social language so that English Learners can thrive in their classrooms and school community. We follow the WIDA standards, which guide our instruction and support students' English language development.

I have taught kindergarten through third grade, as well as ESOL. I also have certifications in Gifted Education as well a Middle Grades English.

Outside of school, my family and I enjoy traveling to new places. We also love sports, especially football and softball. We are huge University of South Carolina fans. Go Gamecocks!
