Important Dates for Seniors
Feb 27 Deadline to purchase prom tickets on MySchoolBucks ($130 per person, which includes a t-shirt).
March 13 Prom at Atlanta Zoo
April 1 Senior Fees Due on My School Bucks ($150) or cash to front office
April 3 Last Day to Check Out Library Books; Deadline to Register for College and Career Commitment Day
April 12 Will be posted on MSB when the time gets closer) Deadline to order senior lunches on MySchoolBucks is 2:00. It’s five days all-or-none. Senior lunches will be eaten on the lawn next to the main gym during Senior Week. Tables, chairs, music, and games will be provided.
April 13 All Library Books Due
April 17 College and Career Commitment Day @ 9:15 AM in main gym. This event celebrates and recognizes seniors who have committed to attend higher education or join a military branch. This event is for seniors to officially announce their chosen path in front of their parents and peers. Must sign up through the link on Senior Google Classroom.
April 20-24 Senior Week
April 27 Modified schedule due to EOC Testing, schedule TBD

April 29 Exam for 1st period, time TBD; Exam for 2nd period, time TBD
April 30 Exam for 3rd period, time TBD; Exam for 5th period, time TBD; Exam for 4th period, time TBD
Chromebook Collection and Cap and Gown Pickup in media center after your last exam period. Must have all obligations cleared and all classes passed. If you have an AP test, you will keep your Chromebook until the exam but can still pick up your cap and gown after your last exam.

May 13 Senior letters due in front office. Parents, family, friends, and teachers can write letters to graduating seniors, congratulating them, expressing their love and “proudness” of them, telling them how they’ve impacted their lives, giving them “life” advice, etc. These letters are sorted into big envelopes and given to each senior at the Senior Breakfast.
May 17 Baccalaureate in the main auditorium at Sharon Church @ 2:00 PM. Baccalaureate is an optional activity for graduates and their families. It's a non-denominational religious service hosted by FCA to honor and inspire graduates. Seniors meet upstairs in the Warehouse. Wear your gown and stole but not your cap.
Senior Honors Ceremony in main gym @ 6:00 PM. Dress nicely but do not wear cap/gown. If you are receiving an award, you will receive an invitation via email. If you are receiving an award and do not attend, you can pick it up at graduation practice.
May 18 Senior Breakfast in main gym @ 8:15. Students receive senior letters at breakfast.
OMS/OHS Senior Walk. Meet in OMS gym @ 9:15 AM. Walk to the bus entrance near the cafeteria. Wear cap, gown, and stole. Parents park wherever they can find a spot, including along Mustang Alley and North Ola Rd. Parents will line the walkway outside of the high school, starting at the fence near the stadium and going up to the student entrance at the 700 hall. The walk ends with all graduates going out the front door by the main office.
Senior Field Day on the football field, 10 AM - 12 PM. If it rains we will be in the OHS gym.
Yearbooks will be available for pick-up just outside the entrance to the football field.
May 19 Grad Practice in OHS main gym @ 9 AM (mandatory) You do not need to wear your cap and gown.
May 20 Graduation Practice in main gym @ 9:30 (mandatory). You do not need to wear your cap and gown.
Tickets will be distributed at the end of this practice. Each graduate will receive 25 tickets. All guests, regardless of age, will need a ticket for the ceremony. The tickets are included as part of your senior dues. The school does not give or sell additional tickets.
Senior Parade @ 6 PM. Line up in bus lane around 5:30. From the bus lane, the parade will head toward OMS, come up Mustang Drive in front of the high school, then turn left onto N. Ola Rd, then back into the bus lane.
Vehicles should be street-legal and have a license plate. You can decorate your vehicles and ride together with friends. Dress however you’d like; most people will wear regular clothes.
May 21st Graduation!!! 7:30 Echo Park Speedway (formerly known as Atlanta Motor Speedway)
Graduation at Echo Park Speedway, 7:30 PM. Clear bag policy is enforced. Guests are not supposed to bring food and drinks, but concessions are sold inside. Gates open at XX. Graduates arrive by 6:00 PM (mandatory)
