High School Soccer Interest Meeting in October!
Pre-Season Conditioning
Conditioning will begin January 7th after school from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm. Please know conditioning is only from January 7th to 16th. You should be in REASONABLE shape before you come to conditioning; if not, you will struggle to keep up.
Conditioning is MANDATORY, just like practice is during the season. Failure to show up (unless you are in another sport) will hurt your chances of making the team.

Tryout Dates and Information
Tryouts will be held on January 19th, 20th, and 21st.
January 19th is MLK Day, and we are out of school. We will still have tryouts that day, with the boys from 10 am to 12 pm, and the girls will be from 12:30 pm to 2:30.
January 20th and 21st tryout dates will be right after school. Please make sure you are on the Remind for the right gender so you get up-to-date info about where each team is located.
After the last day of tryouts, we will post our rosters on the website by 8 pm. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on January 22nd at 6 pm for all parents of players who made the rosters.
Requirements for Athletic Participation
The following requirements must be met before a student at OHS may try out for soccer.
1) The athlete must have a complete Aktivate account for the current school year and have a current GHSA on file with the athletic director. Please upload the physical to your Akitivate account. Aktivate should be completed by at least December 1st. You can print the Physical and Medical Form HERE.
You may access the online Pre-participation Registration at www.aktivate.com and click ‘Login/Sign Up’ to get started.

2) The athlete must have passed at least five classes in the previous semester.
3) The athlete must have turned in all their 'Teacher Recommendation' forms by December 19th, 2025. (If you did not receive any at the interest meeting, or lost yours, you can go to Mr. Godsey's room (329) for more copies or print from the link below. We must receive recommendation forms from ALL your academic teachers.
**IF ONE OR ALL OF THE ABOVE ITEMS ARE NOT COMPLETED BY THE DUE DATE, THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRY OUT!**
