My name is Taleah D. Jackson, Ed.S., and I am honored to serve as the College and Career Readiness Coach at McDonough High School. I am a passionate and dedicated educator with over five years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and instructional leadership. My journey in education has been grounded in a deep commitment to student success, equity, and empowering every learner to realize their full potential.
In my new role, I support students in navigating their academic and career pathways by providing guidance on college planning, career exploration, and postsecondary transitions. I collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to make informed decisions about their future.
Prior to this position, I served as a Healthcare Science Teacher and HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) Advisor, where I led students in building industry-aligned skills, leadership development, and civic engagement. These experiences continue to inform my work in preparing students for life beyond high school.
I hold a Specialist in Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Georgia, along with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Georgia Southern University.
I’m excited to grow with you and help our Warhawks soar toward excellence!
