Childhood Background

I am Mrs. Latrinda Johnson. I am originally from Mississippi. Yes, I am a Magnolia.  My mom, dad, and grandma still live in Mississippi.  I am the oldest of three children. I have two brothers. We are a tight knit family with a whole lot of faith, love, and southern hospitality.

                                             Family

 My family and I relocated to Georgia in 2002. My husband Cordney is originally from California. Who knew... west coast guy meets southern small town gal.  We have two boys. Our sons are 2017 and 2024 graduates of Ola High School.

                                         Education

 As far as my credentials, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Education.

                                          Schools

I taught five years in Mississippi and 13 years at Anderson Elementary School in Clayton County.  I taught second, third, and fourth grades. In 2007, I was voted Anderson Elementary Teacher of the Year.  Last but not least, I was voted Mt. Carmel Teacher of the Year for 2023-2024. This will me my 10th year teaching 2nd grade at Mt. Carmel Elementary

                      More Information About Me

Some of my favorite things to do when I'm not teaching are hanging out with my family, attending Turning Point Church, reading, and watching movies. Also, I love to eat! Food is my passion. My favorite food is pasta.
