Our Mission
Our Mission
The mission of Young Ladies of Distinction is to encourage members to excel academically, empower them to develop self confidence and equip young ladies with the tools to be productive citizens. Through our mentorship, meetings, activities and community outreach we instill the values of Sisterhood, Service, Self-Esteem, and Success in all of our members.

YOUNG OF LADIES DISTINCTION AT OKE
Young Ladies of Distinction at Oakland is open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls.
Participation in YLD at OKE is based on teacher/staff recommendations for the SY 2023-2024 and contingent upon the completion of an application.
Reliable transportation is required.
Contact School Counselors for recommendations.
