Meet Your Counselor

Hey Owl Family!  I am Mrs. Brown and I am so excited to be entering my 2nd year as the School Counselor at Oakland Elementary.  I will be primarily working with students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st  grade.

 I am looking forward to an awesome year of supporting students, parents, and teachers.  My role is to encourage, support, and facilitate the positive social/emotional development, academic growth, and career exploration for all students, through core curriculum lessons, small groups, and individual school counseling sessions.
