SC3 Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information about how the Law of Conservation of Matter is used to determine chemical composition in compounds and chemical reactions.
SC3.c Use mathematics and computational thinking to apply concepts of the mole and Avogadro's number to conceptualize and calculate percent composition, molar volumes of gases, mass, moles, and molecules relationships
Daily Learning Target
I can use the mole to describe the amount of a substance - element or compound.
I can relate Avogadro’s number to the mole.
I can distinguish between how many particles are in a mole (of a given substance) or how much a mole weighs.
I can convert between number of particles, mass, and moles for elements and compounds

This lesson will take place on campus during your assigned class period. Attendance is required.
Any students who are absent the day of the lab need to make transportation arrangements to do the lab the next Wednesday cafe day from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
