Hello and welcome! I am so glad you are here. Whether you are joining my class for the first time or returning, we appreciate your presence and look forward to a meaningful experience together. This is a space where ideas are shared, growth is encouraged, and everyone is invited to contribute. Let’s make the most of our time together and support one another on this journey.
I’m excited to have you in class as we explore the various sections of high school sciences. Though the different sciences may appear different from each other, there will always be knowledge that overlaps. Therefore, we will all learn from each other. For instance, in Biology, associates will learn about cells, molecules, the environment, evolution, and genetics. Associates in Human Anatomy and Physiology will build on their Biology knowledge and assess how tissues, organs, and organ systems work together to enable the organism to function. Similarly, Chemistry associates will understand and demonstrate the role of different chemicals in the functioning of living systems.
Why does this matter?
Associates must have four Science credits to become eligible for graduation.
Let’s make this a great semester together!!!
