The mission of Helping Each Rise is to encourage members to excel academically, empower them to develop self confidence and equip young ladies with the tools to be productive citizens. Through our mentorship, meetings, activities and community outreach we instill the values of Sisterhood, Service, Self-Esteem, and Success in all of our members.
Helping Each Rise at Birch Creek is open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls.
Due to high demand, all interested students must submit an application and obtain teacher recommendation to be considered for membership in H.E.R.
Applications will be reviewed by the program mentors, and students will be selected based on alignment and fit with the mission and goals of the program
Reliable transportation is required.
