Hello! I'm Brenten Morris!

Meet Mr. Brenten Morris

Welcome to the music room! My name is Mr. Brenten Morris, and I am excited to share the joy of music with every student who walks through my classroom.

As an elementary general music educator, I believe that every child is naturally musical and deserves a classroom where they feel encouraged, valued, and inspired to create. My goal is to cultivate a learning environment where students develop confidence, curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music through singing, movement, instruments, listening, and performance.

I have a passion for working with children from Pre-K through fifth grade and strive to make each lesson engaging, inclusive, and hands-on. Whether students are learning steady beat, exploring rhythm and melody, performing with classroom instruments, or preparing for a school concert, I want every child to experience the excitement of making music together.

Beyond teaching musical concepts, I believe music helps students build important life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, self-expression, respect, and confidence. My classroom emphasizes kindness, responsibility, and active participation while creating a safe space where every student can take creative risks and celebrate their unique talents.

As a lifelong learner and dedicated educator, I am committed to partnering with families and the school community to help students grow both musically and personally. It is a privilege to guide young musicians as they discover their voices, build meaningful connections through music, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
