My name is Lasheena Miller. I am the 2025-2026 TEACHER OF THE YEAR!!! I am so honored to be named with this prestigious AWARD for McDonough High School. I am a passionate educator of 17 years, with experience teaching 8-12th grade, honors classes, creative writing, and multi-cultural literature. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to attend THE Alabama State University. This is my 4th year in Henry County at McDonough High School. I am excited about the school year and I cannot wait to impact the lives of students through meaningful, rigorous instruction!
