Mr. Trevor Latimore serves at the Director of Bands of The Mighty Marching Warhawks since 2022. As a native of Augusta, Ga., Mr. Latimore began playing drums for two churches from 1st-12th grade. In the 6th grade, he joined the middle school band and began playing trombone. In high school, Mr. Latimore participated in the marching band, concert ensembles, and jazz band.
After graduating from The Academy of Richmond County HS in 2010, Mr. Latimore attended Alabama State University on a marching band and music major scholarship. At ASU, he was a member of the Mighty Marching Hornet band, concert and symphonic band, and trombone choir. In the fall of 2012, he was appointed Assistant Trombone Section Leader until the spring of 2014. In the spring of 2016, Mr. Latimore graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Instrumental Music degree.
Mr. Latimore has taught instrumental music since 2016 in Birmingham, Al., Augusta, Ga., and now the Henry County School District. In December 2024, Mr. Latimore earned his Masters of Arts in Teaching Music Education degree at Piedmont University. Lastly, Mr. Latimore is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The McDonough High School Parent Resource Center provides parents with free Literacy and Math resources across all content areas and all grade levels, provides opportunities for family involvement with hands-on learning activities, provides Parent Workshops to support learning at home, IC Parent Portal assistance, Free and Reduced Lunch Form information and assistance, Copyright Piracy Laws, Ga Milestones and many more resources are available.
