Hi parents and students,

My name is Kacey Kurey, and I was born and raised in the great state of West Virginia. I currently provide support to both the general education and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students and teachers in the English department at AAS.  For the Spring 2026 semester, I will be teaching/supporting 11th grade American Literature and British Literature classes.

I earned my master’s degree in special education from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in 1996 and my undergraduate degree is in elementary education from Mount Union College in Alliance, OH in 1992. I am completing my seventh year teaching in Henry County School District, but have 25 years of teaching experience in grades ranging from second to twelfth.

In my personal time, I enjoy swimming, jogging/walking, going to Bible study, doing crafts, and spending time with my family.

I am looking forward to a wonderful semester.
