Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Juwuan Smith and I hail from "The Good Life City" of Albany, Georgia. After graduating in the top ten percentile of my class in high school, I decided to further my education by graduating from the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University. While there I met my wife and made it a mission to dedicate my career to educating youth and young adults. While at MHS, I have been both Assistant and Head Soccer Coach for boys and girls soccer, Academic Bowl advisor, National History Day, and the Social Studies State Teacher of the Year for the Georgia Council of Social Studies.

My education philosophy is based on Dr. W. E. B. DuBois's statement, "Education must not simply teach work—it must teach life."
