At Impact Academy, we provide opportunities for students to get back on track with graduation requirements through Grade Repair, Credit Recovery, and Course Repetition. These programs are designed to support students who may need a second chance to master content and earn required credits.
Important: Some Credit Recovery methods are not accepted by the NCAA and may affect scholarship eligibility. Please check with your school counselor before enrolling.
Impact Academy utilizes the Georgia Virtual School Credit Recovery platform for students repeating courses previously failed. This model is best suited for independent, self-motivated learners, as it provides limited teacher assistance.
Courses are available in core subjects, including Math, Science, English, and Social Studies, as well as Health.
Coursework includes a pretest, lessons, post-tests, and a final exam or End-of-Course (EOC) assessment.
Final grades are calculated using 80% unit test scores (and essays, if required) plus 20% from the final exam/EOC.
These opportunities allow students to refocus, recover credit, and move forward toward graduation. For more information, feel free to email Ms. Smith at retta.smith@henry.k12.ga.us
