Congratulations to our Department Dancers on becoming district finalists in the 2025-2026 Governor's Honors Program (GHP) for Dance. This is a great accomplishment, and we wish Aubrey Beard (11th) & Kailynne Aiken (10th) well wishes as they continue on in the audition/interview process.

Graduating Senior Dancers did a phenomenal job at this years FADS showcase March 26th. Dancers pictured: Deanna Adams, Latrice Gibson, Khyla Matthews, Sydney Reeves and Alana Radford; all represented the HHS Dance Department with High Distinction and Honors.
HHS Dance students were selected to participate in Henry County School's 2nd Annual Jete' Honors Dance Festival. The Festival was held January 31st and February 1st. HHS Dancers & The Purple Reign Dance Team perfromed two chorepgraphed pieces, and were thed most awarded school in attendance. Thank you to Mrs. Taylor (AAS), Ms. Mpezo (HHS), and Ms. Ellis (MMS) for coming together and creating a great festival for our Henry County Dancers.
Congrats to the Purple Reign Dance Team for placing 2nd in the 4A-5A Hip Hop Category Saturday,February 8th. They also placed 2nd at Mill Creek Highschools GHSA Dance Invitation. This is the first time in History that Purple Reign has placed in their category since establishment.
Job well done to all of our Fine Arts students at the Hampton Fine Arts Cluster Black History Showcase.
