I am thrilled to be serving as a member of the HHS Fine Arts team! This year begins my 29th year of teaching, all in Henry County. After spending 10 years in elementary art and 10 years in middle school art (the last 8 being at HMS), I am excited to be in the ninth year of my dream job: helping motivate and inspire high school art students to find their artistic passions and voices.
I graduated from Clayton State College and Georgia State University with degrees in Art Education. In the years after college, I married my husband, Jesse (who I met in 9th grade art class). We have two wonderful daughters, Rhiannon, 22 and Gracie, 18. I am also the mother to two dogs and a cat. My passions outside of art include nature, camping, kayaking, build-projects, travel, martial arts, family, faith and fun.
