Hello! I'm Danisha Henderson!

I am excited to be your child’s 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher this school year. Although, this is only my second year at WLE, this will be my 10th year in education. I obtained my Bachelor’s from Florida State University and my Master’s from University of Arizona. My husband and I relocated to McDonough from Florida in 2023. I have 3 amazing daughters whom also attend WLE and am expecting a fourth bundle of joy. I am committed to creating a classroom where your child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow ensuring a successful and happy school year!
