Hello! I'm Samyah Harris!

Hi, friends! I'm Miss Harris, and I am so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher this year! This is my very first year of teaching, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with such an amazing group of students and families.

I recently graduated from Georgia Southern University, where I discovered my passion for creating meaningful learning experiences and helping young learners grow with confidence. I believe first grade is a year full of curiosity, creativity, and big milestones, and I can't wait to celebrate each one with my students!

Outside of the classroom, you'll usually find me shopping, enjoying anything and everything pink, or spending time with my favorite sidekick—my dog, Koda! I love bringing positivity, kindness, and lots of fun into everything I do.

I look forward to building a classroom where every child feels loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. Here's to a wonderful year filled with growth, laughter, new friendships, and lots of first-grade adventures!
