Hello all, welcome to my website !! This year I would be working as a co-teacher for Geometry and 9th Grade Lit as well as a resource teacher for small group Geometry.
About me: I’m proud to be a Special Education teacher for about 15 years now and am excited and looking forward for the many more years to come. This is my 9th year of teaching in USA and 1st year at McDonough high school. Before that I was teaching in my home country India which is a very diverse land.
Education and Experience: I have completed my Maters and Bachelor of Education in Special education. I have my professional Georgia Teaching certificate and I’m certified in all the content areas. I hope to complete my Doctorate degree very soon.
My Mission: Teaching special education not only provides me with an opportunity to do what I love but also share my passion for helping others and I believe that all people have the ability to learn , regardless of their particular disabilities. My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow mentally, emotionally, and socially.It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential.
