I was born in Atlanta, raised in Marietta, graduated with honors from Sprayberry High School in 1986, where I also played varsity soccer. I taught High School Social Studies at Griffin and Spalding High Schools for 10 years. Afterwards, I served the Luella Middle School community in Henry County for 6th and 8th graders over 7 years. I have been with Impact Academy, an online/blended learning environment, since its inception in 2012.
I am married and have six adult children, and I enjoy playing, coaching, watching, and refereeing soccer, biking, hiking, reading, and 'computing', as well as watching Atlanta United soccer, Braves baseball, UGA and Falcons football.
