Hi Families and Students!
I am so excited to welcome you to the WLE learning community. I serve as an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher, and I am passionate about helping every student grow, learn, and thrive at their own pace.
This will be my 8th year in education but my 5th year as a teacher. I hold a Bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies concentrating in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, and Sociology from Texas A&M International University. I also have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from TAMIU as well.
I recently moved to Georgia from Texas where I was a 6th grade Teacher, a literacy tutor for K-3rd grade and a teacher assistant in an Early Childhood Special Education Unit.
I believe every child can succeed when given the right tools, support, and encouragement. My classroom is built on compassion, structure, and celebration of progress, no matter how big or small! I also believe that learning is a journey...not a race.
