Our mission is to build a supportive and inclusive community where students can express themselves, develop their artistic talents, and learn the discipline and teamwork that theatre demands.
What is Drama Club?
Drama Club is a student-led organization for anyone interested in theatre—whether on stage, behind the scenes, or just as a fan!
Do I have to be an actor to join?
Not at all! We welcome actors, writers, designers, tech crew, costume lovers, makeup artists, musicians, and more.
When and where does the Drama Club meet?
We meet every Wednesday in the Theatre Room (1005).
Is there a fee to join?
There is no fee to join the club itself, but there may be costs associated with activities (providing food, field trips, etc.). We work hard to keep things affordable and offer fundraising opportunities.
What types of activities do you do?
We host games, workshops, movie nights, field trips, fundraisers, auditions, and community service projects.
How are Drama Club and school productions different?
Drama Club is a space for all theatre lovers, even if they don’t want to audition. School productions are larger performance commitments open through auditions or crew interviews.
Do I have to audition to be in Drama Club?
No auditions are required to join the club. Auditions are only necessary if you want to perform in a play or musical.
What if I’m shy or have never done theatre before?
That’s okay! Drama Club is a welcoming space where you can try new things, build confidence, and grow at your own pace.
Can I still join if I’m involved in sports or other clubs?
Yes! Many students balance Drama Club with other activities.
Will being in Drama Club help me get cast in plays?
It can help! Active participation shows commitment and gives you more chances to learn, grow, and get noticed.
Who can join Drama Club?
All grade levels are welcome—no experience necessary!
How can parents get involved?
Parents can help by volunteering, donating supplies, supporting fundraisers, and cheering us on at shows!
Who should I contact if I have more questions?
