Welcome to my classroom! I am Dr. Temeisha Moore, an experienced career educator with over 18 years of service in the education field. I am passionate about empowering students, supporting teachers, and fostering dynamic learning environments where everyone can thrive.
I hold a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership from Liberty University (2022) and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Workforce Education from the University of Georgia (2017). Additionally, I earned a Leadership Certification from Valdosta State University (2021), a Master of Science in Education in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University (2009), and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Education from the University of Georgia (2006).
My journey in education has been both diverse and rewarding. I have been a classroom business and marketing teacher in Newton, Lee, Sumter, Terrell, Quitman, and Randolph Counties in Georgia as wll as in Charlotte, NC. Before relocating to Henry County here at McDonough High, I served as the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Director and Media Specialist for Randolph County School District in Cuthbert, GA.
Beyond classroom teaching and administrative responsibilities, I have built strong community and business partnerships through my service as a board member of the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, helping connect students to real-world opportunities as well as running a strong and nearly victorious campaign for Mayor of my hometown of Shellman, GA in 2017.
One of my most cherished experiences was leading the summer program for the Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Boys and Girls Club in 2018. I was honored to be personally invited to his home by former President Jimmy Carter to discuss the program’s vision and curriculum, which aimed to inspire and enrich students' lives in Plains, GA.
In the classroom, I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment that nurtures both academic growth and personal development. My leadership background, strong communication skills, and dedication to student success have shaped my teaching philosophy and approach.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy watching UGA Football, engaging in physical fitness activities, and spending lots of time with family and friends.
Thank you for visiting my webpage. I look forward to a rewarding semester with our scholars!!
