Welcome:
Welcome to Literature & Composition II at the Academy for Advanced Studies. This course is designed to deepen students' understanding of various literary genres, focusing on how themes connect literature to life and recur across different works. This course aligns with Georgia’s 9-12 English Language Arts Standards and is designed to build students’ capacity in the literacy practices and skills that enhance future real-world and academic communications.
The curriculum is delivered in three course formats: Literature & Composition II, Honors Literature & Composition II, and AP Seminar (Spring 2027 only).
This is an EOC course, so students will take a Georgia Milestones End of Course Examination at the end of the semester.
