Welcome, Stockbridge Middle School family! My name is Dr. Hodge and I am excited to begin my journey with you for the 2020-2021 school year. As we continue to work through these unprecedented times, I look forward to working with you at school and virtually. Students are challenged with overwhelming media exposure, peer pressure, and technology advances. Moreover, they are faced with a pandemic and social injustices. These factors can contribute to a stressful environment. School counselors are coordinate thinkers who understand the ASCA National Model. They recognize there is a professionally endorsed framework for creating, implementing, managing, and evaluating a school counseling program. My philosophy is to guide students to achieve success in academic, personal/social, and career development. It is my belief that every student can and will succeed.
