Our recovery options are available to all students (i.e, Credit Recovery, Credit Mastery/Course Repetition, Summer Recovery, Grade Repair, and case-by-case enrollment).
August & September: Enrollment is open for Cohort 2026 students and for special circumstances.
Starting in October 2026, enrollment will open for all other students.
Important: Some recovery options are not approved by the NCAA and could affect athletic scholarship eligibility. Please speak with your school counselor to ensure you are making the right choice for your future.
ELHS offers two programs to help students recover credits needed for graduation. Both programs are designed for students who have already taken a course but need to earn credit to stay on track.
Enrollment in a specific program is based on a case-by-case basis.
- Independent, online coursework via Georgia Virtual School.
- Includes pre-tests, unit lessons, post-tests, and a final exam (or Milestones).
- Final grade = 80% coursework + 20% final exam/EOC.
- Students must score 70% or higher to earn credit.
- One course at a time unless approved by the Graduation Coach.
- First attempt is free; $25 fee for re-enrollment if the course expires.
- Options: (1) Make up work or assessments with a teacher, or (2) Pass a Credit Mastery Exam
- Exams are proctored at school between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM
- Score of 70% earns credit (transcript grade: 70)
- Scores below 70 must complete revisions with the Graduation Coach or case manager
