Hello! I'm Shakilya Dorsey!

 I’m so excited to welcome you and your child to Kindergarten! This year marks my first year teaching Kindergarten, but I bring with me 13 years of experience teaching Head Start, where I developed a strong foundation in early childhood education and a deep love for helping young learners grow. I graduated from Mercer University with a BA in both Special Education and General Education. I’m passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive.
