Hello! I'm Florida Richards-Anderson!

My name is Florida Richards-Anderson, but my students know me as Mrs. Flora. I was born and raised in New York City and have been married to my childhood sweetheart since 2008. I am the proud mother of three amazing children and the grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren.

 I hold a degree in Psychology and a certification in Elementary Education, and I have been working in the field of education since 1997. This will be my 11th year at Wesley Lakes Elementary School, and I truly love helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

 In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, listening to music, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. Let's go, Knicks, Giants, and Yankees!

I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I can't wait to meet each of you and begin our exciting learning journey together. We will learn new things, make wonderful memories, and have lots of fun along the way.
